Adaptation of SUAP platforms to interoperability technical specifications (PNRR project “Digitalization of SUAP and SUE procedures”).

This section provides data on the completion status of the adaptation activities of SUAP and SUE platforms by the various administrations involved.

In Italy, there are 7,896 municipalities. There are 6,769 SUAPs because a SUAP can be managed either by a single municipality or by an association of multiple municipalities.

SUAPs use three types of platforms:

  • the national “Impresa in un giorno” solution
  • regional platforms
  • commercial solutions

The PNRR intervention has enabled the financing of the adaptation of SUAP and SUE platforms to interoperability technical specifications, which will allow the electronic exchange of data between the different administrations involved.

To ensure the proper functioning of the entire Single Desk Information System (SSU), once the IT adaptation phase is completed, the accreditation phase must follow. This consists of the formal registration of SUAPs with the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy.

Municipalities: represent the public administrations that have requested—either directly or through the owner of their platform (belonging to one of the three types)—funding for the adaptation of Front Office and Back Office IT components. SUAP: represent the Single Desks for Productive Activities managed by a single municipality or by an association of municipalities that have requested—either directly or through the owner of their platform (belonging to one of the three types)—funding for the adaptation of their Front Office and Back Office IT components.  Third-Party Entities: represent all individual offices of the various entities involved in a procedure of interest to the SUAP that have requested—either directly or through the owner of their platform—funding for the adaptation of the Third-Party Entity Back Office component.

Municipalities: represent the public administrations that have requested—either directly or through the owner of their platform—funding for the adaptation of Front Office and Back Office IT components. Single Desks: represent the Single Desks for construction managed by a single municipality or by an association of municipalities that have requested—either directly or through the owner of their platform—funding for the adaptation of their Front Office and Back Office IT components.  Third-Party Entities: represent all individual offices of the various entities involved in handling the substantive review of a procedure of interest to the SUE, and that have requested—either directly or through the owner of their platform—funding for the adaptation of the Third-Party Entity Back Office component.
