Businesses and self-employed workers established in Italy can carry out their activities throughout the European Union. The establishment of a company or branch abroad is done through the One-Stop Shops set up in all countries, which allow the necessary formalities to be completed electronically. It is also possible to provide services outside national borders without a permanent organisation, on a temporary and occasional basis and, in this case, the administrative tasks to be performed are reduced to a minimum. Among these, the temporary secondment of personnel to EU member states is one of the most critical aspects. More information on this can be found in these slides.
