The establishment of Agencies for Enterprises was in fact already provided for by Article 38 of Law 133/2008 (which converted Decree-Law no. 112 of 25 June 2008 into law, with amendments. This contains urgent provisions for economic development, simplification, competitiveness, the stabilisation of public finances and tax equalisation)
