13/10/2015: Update of the guidelines for ministerial accreditation for Agencies for Enterprises and of the agreement adopted at the Unified Conference on 11 April 2013
Update of the guidelines for ministerial accreditation for Agencies for Enterprises and of the agreement of 11 April 2013 on the criteria to be applied for accreditation procedures.
On 15 September 2012, the International Standard ISO/IEC 17065:2012 "Conformity assessment-Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services" was published. The standard applies to bodies that perform certification of products, processes, and services. The ISO/IEC 17065:2012 standard replaced the UNI CEI EN 45011:1999, which was simultaneously withdrawn, but which continued to apply during the transition period.
The IAF (International Accreditation Forum) has defined a period of 36 months, starting on 15 September 2012, the day the ISO 17065 standard was published; therefore, by 15 September 2015 all accreditation certificates issued in accordance with UNI CEI EN 45011:1999 must be adapted to the new standard. As of 15 September 2014, Accredia will therefore only issue new accreditations in accordance with ISO/IEC 17065:2012.
